I love this ! there is a little metal hook to connect the 2 sides, the clips are metal with teeth. they hold very well, do not damage my thigh thighs but hold in place. I wore the for the whole day with a pair I used to have to constantly roll up, and I only adjusted it 1 time, after sitting for a while. I definitely reccomend this !!! each individual strap is adjustable in length, as well as the main one that goes around your waist ! it shipped pretty fast too
